i've finally started sketches for the coloring book project for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. at the end of January, i visited the children's cancer unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York and the Pediatric Center at the Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. we've been discussing what each of the book's 20 pages should contain in trying to educate and entertain children undergoing stem cell transplants. i'm excited about the opportunity to introduce some fun concepts like detachable postcards and interactive puzzles into the layout.
