secret projects

i've been holed up working on a couple of secret projects one involving monsters (i realize that's not quite a stretch) and the other, crustacean pets. after running my latest kid's book story through my writing critique group for the 2nd time it's almost ready to start playing around with some illustrations. the goal is have this one ready to send out to publishers by the beginning of next year. creatively, i feel like i've come a long way this year. that's a good feeling.
