I thrill at the challenge of building worlds, crafting stories and finding ways to inspire kids to see their surroundings in a new way.
I've been fortunate to work with The Muppets at Jim Henson Productions, train as a special effects moldmaker, write and perform comedy, and design software, toys, accessories, apparel, and other consumer products for the children's market.
In 2007, I created ScrapKins®, a Recycled Arts Enrichment program that inspires children to see the creative potential in everyday junk. I've presented STEAM workshops and interactive building experiences to K-6 students at over 75 schools around the world and designed content and events for Sesame Workshop, Whole Foods, Seventh Generation, The American Museum of Natural History, Skirball Museum, Maryland Science Center, NY Hall of Science, Boston Children’s Museum, World Science Festival, Maker Faire, and Scholastic Afterschool. >> Learn more about ScrapKins: www.Scrapkins.com
And there was that time I was on Sesame Street.
